Common questions
I built my app with an AI tool. Can you fix it without starting over?
Almost always, yes. AI coding tools are excellent at getting you to a working demo, and that work is not wasted. The gap is usually security, architecture, and production hardening, not the whole codebase. I assess what you have and fix what actually matters rather than rebuilding from scratch.
Is my AI-built app secure?
That is exactly what the security review answers. The most common issues I find are exposed API keys, missing or broken authentication, unprotected database access, and injection vulnerabilities. These rarely show up in a demo but are the first things attackers look for once you are live.
Why do apps built with AI tools struggle in production?
AI tools optimise for producing something that looks finished and works on the happy path. Production demands the opposite: handling bad input, securing every endpoint, performing under load, recovering from failure, and staying maintainable. Those concerns are easy to skip and hard to retrofit, which is where I come in.
